There has been a lot of attention lately to Michelle Obama’s toned arms. In the past few weeks there have been many articles written and exercises shown by trainers on how to get those arms – some good information, and some bad.

To get your arms looking like Michelle Obama’s and ready for the summer is not going to be easy!

Who said working out was easy!!

Most excess body fat is mainly due to imbalances in our body biochemistry, and hormones.

The excess and stubborn fat on the back of women’s arms is usually due to the decrease of Growth Hormone and an imbalance or a lowering of our androgen levels.

In order to shed any excess body fat we need to have a specific protocol of diet, exercise and supplementation.

  • Diet will control insulin and help balance out our biochemistry.
    Exercise will burn fat and increase growth hormone.
    Supplementation will balance out our bodies biochemistry and help in the detoxification of unwanted toxins and imbalanced hormones.

One of the first steps is to have a Hair Analysis by Jack Grogan. Hair Analysis is a very important step to take to gain insight into your metabolic patterns and balancing out our body’s chemistry. Also the information we receive by the results of the Hair Analysis can help us target the intensity of our exercise program including how much aerobic exercise we should incorporate.

The other step is determining an appropriate exercise regimen. A weight training protocol of higher reps (10-15) that take 4 seconds to complete each rep and short rest intervals (about 30 seconds) would be the effective choice to remove the excess fat.

You have to remember that genetics plays an important role in building and maintaining muscle. Michelle Obama picked her parents right! Even though we may not have the same genetics, with some hard work, diligence and consistency you too can have arms that are as toned as Michelle Obama’s.
